Challenge
Nex Gen Dynamics existed to serve sister companies. The parent wanted it to earn outside revenue, which meant a brand, a website, a pitch and a pipeline it had never needed.
What I did
- Repositioned the group as a creative agency: name treatment, positioning and service lines.
- Designed and built the agency website.
- Took on client work directly and sold the first outside accounts, including Oxygen One, Size and Carrow Packaging.
- Ran delivery with the in-house creative team built for In Home Personal Services.
What changed
- An internal cost center became a billable agency with outside clients.
- Established the pitch and delivery model the team kept using.
Nick redefines the title of jack-of-all-trades in that he is also a master of many things marketing. From his deep understanding of SEO and SEM, to his research into PPC and what drives the most traffic for the least money, to his mastery of WordPress. As my direct supervisor he was friendly, fair and encouraging, with none of the micromanagement that can be the death knell of a creative team.
Nex Gen Dynamics ran the same four moves every engagement does: identify the gap, roadmap the fix, market, then optimize and hand off.
